Minnesota Website Design Company Gives Back To the Community
Business owners that run their businesses in the local community have an obligation to give back and support community organizations. Minnesota Website Design Company WebBizIdeas.com is doing just that by supporting the Minnesota Professional Fire Fighters Association.
March 30, 2007--- Many business owners run businesses in the communities where they live – this means that many of their customers are also members of the local community. With this in mind, it just makes good civic sense to support local community organizations.
Minnesota Website Design Company WebBizIdeas.com is giving back to the local community by supporting the Minnesota Professional Firefighters Association. The company makes regular donations, as well as offered their business services free of charge. Services offered include Website and software design, Internet Marketing and general business consulting.
The Minnesota Professional FireFighters Association supports Firefighters and their children. They also develop local community outreach programs with the goal of educating the general public on fire safety and actions to take should a fire emergency occur either at home or in public locations. One of their most successful programs, KidWise Safety, is very popular with children, their parents and educators as well.
The KidWise Safety program teaches children and their parents the basics of fire safety. The program also helps educators integrate fire safety education in the classroom. The Minnesota Professional Fire Fighters Association developed the program out of the understanding that fire injuries, accidents and even fatalities could be prevented by giving kids the knowledge that they need to know what to do in the event of a fire. The program aims to address the 3 most common problems that lead to fire injuries among children – lack of mobility, fear and and disorientation. The program works by instilling in children the confidence that through practice, knowing what to do in the event of a fire will become instinctual.
The KidWise Program has a website (www.kidwisesafety.org), where participants can sign up and complete interactive quizzes and activities with their parents. Teachers can monitor the results online and facilitate classroom discussions.
WebBizIdeas encourages all companies in Minnesota to get involved with local organizations like the Minnesota Professional Fire Fighters Association. They can be reached on the web at http://www.mpff.org/, or by calling 1-800-379-6783.
